You did it! Congratulations!! After searching for ages on gaijinpot,dave esl cafe, interviewing endlessly,you finally got a job as an English teacher at an English conversation school in Japan!!So if you're a Japanophile(closeted or out in the open about it),a recovering Japanophile who thinks they won't be like other people believing Japanland is the answers to all their problems, or you just randomly chose Japan cause its different..than you came to the right blog! I was an Eikaiwa(English conversation teacher) for a year in Japan, and I swear after 3 months I wanted to quit!But I stuck it out,counting the days till I got back home to my country,but 3 weeks left at my job...I really felt sad I was leaving my lil spawns behind, and in the end I could say I truly did love my students(except some....maybe if I stayed longer,we could've respected one another..but thats a whole other story..) So this blog is a way for you readers out there to avoid the countless mistakes I made,and enjoy your time being an English Teacher in Japan!
